Allan "Bucka" Jones,. New Host on CKLN FM in Toronto
Starting this Sunday, December 16, Allan "Bucka" Jones (’70) will be the new host of the popular Toronto radio program ‘The Musical Triangle, aired on CKLN 88.1 FM on Sundays from 4-6 pm.
Jones takes over from Milton Blake, the long time host of the program, who passed away in October after a long illness.
Commenting on his new role Jones said “I am honored to be asked to replace such fine person as Milton Blake, and I accept the role with humility and respect for what Milton has achieved over the years. Also, I thank the programming Committee and the Board of Directors at CKLN for the confidence placed in me.”
The format, as a reflection of the Black Experience, will remain, with a number of guest commentators in the popular 5p.m. spot. There will also be feature interviews along with a weekly medical and comedy segment, interspersed with chatter and good music.

Allan “Bucka” Jones comes to the role with many years of experience in the Jamaican and Canadian theatre and Black community involvement. An entertainer, journalist, D.J and radio host, Allan is a long-time and well respected figure in Toronto's Caribbean community.
He is a member of the Toronto chapter of the Excelsior Alumni Association and co-founder, with his wife Denise, of Jones & Jones Productions Ltd.. He recently served as MC for the Annual Alumni Dinner/Dance in New York.
