Four decades after its founding, the Excelsior Alumni Association, (USA), Inc. will take a bow for its enduring legacy of 40 years of sterling and unbroken service to the Alma Mater.

It will commemorate the milestone by hosting its 40th Anniversary Dinner Dance & Awards Gala at which four distinguished alumni will be recognized for their contribution and eminence.

Four Honorees

The honorees are: University Professor, Dr. Marcia Livingston; Olympian & Businessman Neville Myton, OD, Pediatrician & University Lecturer Dr. Maureen Samms-Vaughan and Comedic Actor / Educator / Writer Owen Blakka Ellis.

Special Hotel Rate

In a concession to patrons of the Dinner Dance, the Alumni Association has secured special rates from the Ramada Plaza to accommodate out of town guests, or those wishing to stay overnight at the hotel.

The Ramada Plaza has blocked off 10 rooms (5 single, 5 double) at the special rate of $115.00+tax per night.

Guests should mention the Excelsior Alumni Association (USA) Inc. to obtain this special group rate. This rate will be available until the first week of October and can be secured by calling the Ramada Plaza at 718-995-9000 between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.  The hotel will require a credit card at the time of booking to guarantee the room.
